Tidal Fenders is a Gold Coast-based manufacturer and installer of marine fendering for marina berths, superyacht berthing facilities and commercial waterfront structures. Established in 2018, the business has fitted more than 1,000 marina berths, pontoons and jetties across Australia.

Recent commercial projects include The Mantaray Marina on the Gold Coast, where our fenders are fitted across berths including twenty superyacht berths taking vessels to 60 metres, Coffs Harbour International Marina, and the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron marina extension.
Our core product is the Heavy Duty Tidal Fender, an Australian-designed and Australian-made fender system, patent pending, and manufactured in our Gold Coast workshop. Each fender is built from 100 per cent closed-cell impact foam that will not absorb water, sealed in a marine-grade UV-treated PVC jacket and finished with a replaceable marine-grade carpet cover. The carpet face protects hull and topside finishes at the point of contact. The system mounts to an aluminium backing plate that bolts to the existing extrusion or sail track through purpose-made marine-grade fixing points, without damaging the structure, so the pontoon manufacturer’s warranty stays intact.
We supply nationally and install throughout Australia for marina projects, with berth refurbishment, carpet replacement and ongoing maintenance programmes alongside new fendering.
Tidal Fenders is also a member of the Marina Industries Association and a licensed user of the Australian Made Campaign logo. Our fenders carry a five-year warranty, with a two-year warranty on the carpet layer.
