Birdon has delivered three next-generation bridge erection boats to the Australian Army, the latest evolution of a platform refined over years of operational experience.

The capability, originally developed in Australia, has since been exported internationally, expanding Birdon’s global footprint and engineering expertise across allied nations. Birdon CEO Jamie Bruce says the program is a strong example of how Australian defence programs can generate lasting industrial capability, export success and investment in local skills.
